Peeta was a Lepi and one of the many cousins of the bounty hunter Jaxxon T. Tumperakki. Tumperakki offered Peeta and the rest of his cousins, the smuggler Han Solo's services in exchange for help with a job to steal transit chips from Amaiza Foxtrain for the Alliance to Restore the Republic on the planet Valtos.
