Pek

Biography

Pek was the son of High Priest Cardo, and was a priest and leader of the Sedrians in his own right. As a young Sedrian, Pek shared a romance with Fala, daughter of Karak. As a priest, Pek was dedicated to ensuring the Golden Sun shone forever, and preserving the culture and customs of his people.

When the Galactic Empire arrived on Sedri and began building their garrison, and their efforts began killing the local sea life. Pek set out from Fitsay to scout the installation and managed to infiltrate the facility. On his way back to Fitsay, he was attacked by a number of Imperial seatroopers riding waveskimmers. While fighting them off, Pek was assisted by new arrivals who defeated the seatroopers. Although wary of the new arrivals, Pek learned that they were members of the Alliance and had arrived on Sedri with good intentions. He insisted on the Alliance agents accompanying him to Fitsay and meeting with his father.

After the Alliance agents met with Cardo and talked with him on a variety of subjects, Pek promised to lead them to the Imperial garrison the next day. In the morning, Pek told them that his father had forbidden him to lead the Alliance team to the base, but he disagreed and decided to do what was right. Using his knowledge of the base layout, Pek helped the Alliance agents to infiltrate the garrison.

Pek joined the Alliance team in traveling to the renegade settlement to find the missing diplomat Mors Odrion where he was reunited with Fala. The Alliance team managed to convince Fala that her father was in league with the Galactic Empire, which caused Fala and many of the renegades to recant their support for Karak. During the Battle of Fitsay, Pek, Fala, and the Mon Calamari Rekara assisted the Golden Sun's chosen champion in defeating Karak and freeing the Golden Sun to spread across Sedri. Pek, alongside Fala, succeeded Cardo as High Priest.
