In a dangerous snowspeeder chase across Starkiller Base, Rey and Finn work together to escape pursuing snowtroopers.
During the Battle of Starkiller Base, Finn and Rey are riding a stolen Light Infantry Utility Vehicle. Rey asks Finn if he is sure that he doesn't want her to fly. Finn reassures her that he is alright as long as no one is following them. The two are soon pursued by three First Order Light Infantry Utility Vehicles carrying First Order snowtroopers. The pursuing snowspeeders are equipped with laser cannons.
Finn drives while Rey exchanges fire with the Snowtroopers. Rey tells Finn to head towards the forest, which he complies. As they enter the forest, she tells him to switch places. The two narrowly avoid crashing into a fallen trunk. A First Order snowspeeder follows them but Finn shoots down a heap of snow on them, causing the speeder to crash to the ground. The two Snowtroopers survive crash due to the thick snow. The remaining snowspeeders chase Finn and Rey through a trench. Finn shoots one of the repulsor engines of the second snowspeeder, causing it to crash. Finn cheers and Rey tells him that he likes shooting.
Finn and Rey exit the forest and approach a cliff overlooking a deep gorge. Finn's blaster is shot out of his hand. Rey tells him they are almost there. Finn thinks they won't make it to the other side of the gorge but Rey tells him to hang on. Rey accelerates the snowspeeder, blinding the pursuing Snowtroopers. Finn and Rey make it safely to the other side but the Snowtroopers' speeder falls into the gorge. After the chase, Finn agrees to let Rey fly and Rey agrees to let Finn do the shooting before driving off.
