The Pikaati were a bipedal sentient species whose heads had two large, bulbous cranial lobes and breathed hydrogen cyanide, a gas that was poisonous to humans. They created , a rare black armor that was able to withstand blaster fire, which was confiscated from them. A full suit of Pikaati gear ended up in the possession of Thetis Quelton, the owner of Quelton Fabrications, who complemented the Pikaati on their craftsmanship and believed that she could get some ideas from their armor.
