R-65 heavy blaster was used by the Naboo Security Guards. The blaster shot twin energy bolts that could bounce off walls and other solid objects. The energy bolts could pierce through armor, whereas regular blaster shots couldn't.
The R-65 was Captain Quarsh Panaka's personal blaster. His R-65 was a twin-bolt model of the standard guard CR-2 heavy blaster pistol.
