Refresher Booth

Description

The Refresher Booth was a personal hygiene refreshment system which contained an ultrasonic shower, which was entirely self-contained and fully automated. The shower did not only invigorate its users as they were cleaned, but due to tiny amounts of specially-formulated bacta, a type of medical substance, incorporated into the shower, it promoted cellular repair and muscular stimulation. Following a wash, heat induction coils heated the booth to create a warm and refreshing drying cycle. The entire cleaning and drying process only took a user ten minutes.

History

The booths was produced by the zZip Product Concepts Limited luxury goods company. The Galladinium Galactic Exports company sold the booths through their product catalog for 2500 credits each in the period between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Hoth during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The booths were commonly available for purchase in most large cities and spaceport, and could often be found for use in medical facilities, health clubs, and spaceports, and made good places to hide or use as drop points for smuggled goods.

Behind the scenes
