An RTT under attack by Octuptarra magna tri-droids
This airspeeder vehicle had low speed and very little armor, but was armed with two laser cannons and two mass driver missile launchers for self-defense. It could be carried onboard an LAAT/c to quickly reach strategic points on the battlefield.
RTTs were used to transport the Jedi Knights to the Geonosian arena so they could rescue Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Senator Padmé Amidala. Following this, they saw action in the Clone Wars, particularly early on in that conflict. They were notably deployed at the Evacuation of Rhen Var, during the Dark Reaper crisis.
During the Galactic Civil War, a similar design meant for space travel was utilized by the Rebel Alliance.
