Resk was a Human alive during the time the Galactic Empire had power. With a bounty issued for Resk's capture around 17 BBY, A'Sharad Hett, a former Jedi Master turned bounty hunter, pursued Resk and found him on Korriban. In their standoff, Resk threatened to reveal Hett's past as a Jedi to the authorities if he were ever brought before them. This threat led Hett to behead Resk using his lightsabers, pushing the former Jedi further into the dark side of the Force.
Resk was a Human existing in the early years that the Galactic Empire reigned. Around 17 BBY, after a bounty was placed on Resk, the bounty hunter A'Sharad Hett, who used to be a Jedi Master, eventually tracked Resk down to the planet of Korriban, where a storm forced them both to the planet's surface. Resk ran from Hett and tried to defend himself with a pair of blasters, but the former Jedi's lightsabers disarmed him. As Hett cornered Resk, Resk threatened to tell the authorities that Hett used to be a Jedi, which caused Hett to silence Resk by beheading him, since the bounty on Resk was the same whether he was alive or dead. After Resk's death, Hett, having already fallen to the dark side, found the ancient Sith Lord XoXaan's holocron, and over the next few years, the former Jedi Master learned the ways of the Sith from it.
Resk had light skin, brown eyes, a beard, and long hair. During his final confrontation with Hett, Resk wore jewelry and carried two blaster pistols.
John Ostrander, the writer of the Star Wars: Legacy comics, created Resk for the fourth issue of the Claws of the Dragon story arc. Jan Duursema drew him.
