In 40 BBY, Pijal's lord regent Rael Averross gave Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, a tour of the Pijali palace. As part of their briefing, Averross visited the reception hall with the two Jedi while explaining how the Pijali Princess Fanry's coronation would occur in the nearby Celestial Chalice. Days later, Jinn revisited the hall and passed through its doors after being scanned by Czerka's droids.
