Sacanium was a mineral ore stronger than zersium when refined and rarer than phrik, that was found on the Outer Rim planet of Serenno. Following the invasion of Serenno, Countess Hagi of Malvern discovered a seam of sacanium, that Tirra'Taka brought up during the battle.
Lene Kostana suggested the Galactic Senate could send a Mining Guild contingent to aid the planet, but Jedi Master Dooku rejected her offer. While Hagi protested that Jedi couldn't make a choice for Serenno like this, Dooku suggested that he wasn't a Master anymore, but a Count of Serenno, reaching into his robes for a holocomm, that his sister Jenza gifted him years ago, to contact Yoda to inform him he was resigning from the Order and that Serenno wouldn't need further aid from the Republic with this new resource.
