On Ord Mantell, the Bad Batch was tasked by Ciddarin Scaleback to steal as much war chests from Castle Serenno, home of Count Dooku. By the time they arrived, the castle was already occupied by the Galactic Empire. The clones failed to collect the treasure and fled.
Sometimes later while Hunter and Echo was delivering fifty cases of nerf nuggets, Scaleback asked Tech, Wrecker, and Omega to go with her to Safa Toma. Scaleback claimed that she needs their skillsets and abilities.
They arrived on Safa Toma Speedway, where a major riot racing event took place. As Scaleback and the clones walked by the crowd, they saw the event for themselves. Scaleback told Omega that she had her own racer TAY-0 that will make her money.
With Tech winning the race event, Scaleback was released by Milegi as promised. As soon as she left, Milegi warned the clones that Cid is not to be trusted and that they should watch their back.
Sometime later on Ord Mantell, Genoa persuaded the Bad Batch to join her on another treasure hunt after Omega found a compass with coordinates to the Kaldar Trinary system. Echo pointed out that their last treasure hunt had not ended well, but the team agreed to go. The journey led them to the legendary Skara Nal, which was believed to be a city which contained the Heart of the Mountain, a valuable crystal containing immense power. However, when Genoa located and removed the crystal, Skara Nal was revealed to be an ancient war machine which began ravaging the immediate area. She was persuaded to replace the stone after Hunter pointed out the Marauder was in danger of being destroyed, which would strand them all. Once the Heart was replaced, both it and Skara Nal were destroyed for good. In the aftermath, Tech commented the team was now two for two regarding unsuccessful treasure hunts.
