Sanyassa system

The system contained the planet Sanyassa IV, a lawless world that was the homeworld of the Sanyassan species. Sanyassa IV occupied the fourth orbital position of the system, took 389 local days to complete one orbit, and was home to one billion of its natives. By 3963 BBY, at least one Sanyassan, Bar'injar, had made his way beyond Sanyassa IV and into the Core Worlds.

Sanyassa IV was first mentioned in the article "Endor and the Moddell Sector," which was authored by Craig Robert Carey, Daniel Wallace, and Jason Fry and published in the ninth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine on February 22, 2002. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, named the system and placed it in grid square H-16.
