Sartori was an inspector for the Coruscant Security Force during the time of the Galactic Republic. Sartori was corrupt, working for the crime lord Cenevax. When Cenevax organized the sabotage of Ramil, who had refused to follow a deal made with the crime lord, in the forty-eighth annual Dragonfire Air Rally, Inspector Sartori worked to cover up the crime. The Jedi Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn saw through Sartori's attempts, and followed him back to Cenevax's lair. For his failure, Cenevax repeatedly hit Sartori with a heavy box, severely injuring the inspector.
