Schinga

Schingas were large, predatory, serpents native to Makem Te. There were several subspecies of these serpents, the most famous and prized of which was the 'serpent-stallion' schinga shikou. These serpents were used as mounts by the Swokes Swokes. Other species included the schinga equa, the schinga klaug (a subterranean breed), the schinga picai (a very small breed), and the schinga ikkow (a venomous variety).
