Science Outpost

The Science Outpost, also known as the Research Outpost, was a spaceport on Dathomir during the Galactic Civil War.

After the Battle of Yavin, Shaki Hamachil was the administrator of the facility while Shibb Nisshil worked as the Chief Scientist. In 1 ABY, the Meatlumps, a gang of fanatical technology-hating criminals and terrorists from Corellia, placed a bomb in the Science Outpost. Fortunately, a spacer who had infiltrated the group discovered the plot and defused the bomb before it could explode.
