The Scrap Scavenger was a junk golem created by Jedi Master Kazdan Paratus.
Scavengers were four-legged droids, held together by the power of the Force. They were loyal servants of Paratus and often charged an enemy on sight. When they closed in on their target, they attempted to maul its prey like a wild animal.
Similar to Paratus's other junk golems, they were somewhat resistant to Force-based attacks. They were also capable of releasing portions of their innate Force energy to rebuild nearby Scrap Guardians. Once they were close to being defeated, they would use their last strength to self destruct with the Force and the excess energy was used to create Scrap Guardians from nearby garbage.
Scavengers were created on the planet Raxus Prime and fought against Galen Marek. However, they were defeated, and once again became hunks of metal with the death of Paratus. With their defeat, the Galactic Empire was able to take over the planet.
