Sense life was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The spell allowed the caster to detect the presence and identify of another individual whom they are searching for. The Ascendant could also detect certain states the target was in, such as being wounded or sick.
Ascendants who wished to cast the spell were required to know the detect life spell.
