Sentry droid
Patrol droids, also known as sentry droids, were a type of droid designed to function as guards across different locations. For example, compact, wheeled sentry droids were used to patrol the corridors of the first Death Star. Other iterations of these droids guarded bases, for instance, the base located on Gall. To safeguard the cages containing their valuable animals on the planet Dandelo, the Starhunters made use of patrol droids. The Galactic Empire utilized Mark IV sentry droids for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes in areas on planets such as the streets of Mos Eisley on Tatooine.
