Six Years of Galaxies was a painting depicting Darth Vader's head, Jabba Desilijic Tiure, Bib Fortuna, a Gamorrean, Lando Calrissian, Leia Organa, Wicket Wystri Warrick, Han Solo, a lightsaber wielding Luke Skywalker, and some X-wing starfighters attacking what appeared to be the second Death Star.
The painting included some text in the High Galactic alphabet, including Star Wars—the title of what was being commemorated—as well as a list of ambiguous names, possibly entertainers within the saga being noted. The painting seemed to speculate that the Jedi Order would one day "return." This was quite ominous, given that the Jedi did in fact return following the Battle of Endor, years after the painting was created.
One of many paintings and other pieces of art available in the galaxy, Five Years of Galaxies was most prevalent during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It appeared some time after the Battle of Yavin, which took place in 0 BBY and was a pivotal conflict in the war. Leia and Vader issued these paintings, alongside Five Years of Galaxies and various medals, during the festivities of Remembrance Day and Empire Day, respectively.
This painting was only given out to players for the sixth year anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies, during the Empire Day live event of 2009.
This painting is actually the theatrical poster for Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, a 1983 movie made by George Lucas as the sixth and final chronological installment of Star Wars.
Unlike most of the other theatrical posters in the game, Six Years of Galaxies is not named after its movie counterpart, Return of the Jedi.
