Skingles were a species of flying creatures native to the planet of Skye, in the Outer Rim Territories. The S'kytri people hunted them for consumption, which prompted the skingle to hide in the Entyrmion, a network of underground caves, where the guanomongers would feast on their feces. When a S'kytri died, his or her corpse was exposed on Mount Krisklar, where the skingles would excarnate it.
