When Admiral Adar Tallon defected from the Empire shortly after its creation by faking his death in a staged pirate attack, he fled to Tatooine and sought help from Slag Flats. Slag assisted Tallon with disappearing and maintained infrequent contact with him over the years. When the Empire discovered Tallon was alive and hiding on Tatooine during their search for the Death Star plans, a bounty was placed on his head and a large manhunt commenced. Slag was fond of the honorable admiral and tried to help him escape Tatooine. She hired a Devaronian information broker named Labria to look out for a trustworthy and capable group that could help her extract Tallon. When a group of rebel agents confronted Labria for information on Tallon's whereabouts, the Devaronian agreed to arrange a meeting with Slag Flats. Before the meeting, Slag messaged Old Arno, the only other founding colonist still alive, and instructed him to link up with the rebels and lead them to Tallon. Unbeknownst to Slag, Labria had been bought out by the bounty hunter Jodo Kast. After the Devaronian tipped him off about the meeting, Kast and a squad of bounty hunters assassinated Slag Flats and her associates. When the rebels reached Slag's silo hideout, they found the Ithorian with her head splayed and a Sennari-tipped dart in her neck.
