The Sleight of Hand was a modified Telgorn dropship used by Cad Bane during the Clone Wars as a go-to craft for delivering precious cargo, both living and otherwise. The ship has been heavily customized and re-purposed by Bane himself, who installed military-grade armor and weapons and an advanced hyperdrive.

Using this ship, Bane stole a prototype gravity weapon designed by Kul Teska in orbit over Alzoc III. To cover his tracks, Bane destroyed the Munificent-class star frigate that was carrying the weapon, the frigate crashed on the planet and created a gravity anomaly. Bane took the ship and the weapon to Ryloth, where he was captured and forced to co-operate by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano. Bane took the weapon back to the ship. while the Jedi guarded him. However, at the ship the trio was confronted by Kul Teska, who engaged the Jedi. Teska initially gained the upper hand, but was forced to retreat when clone troopers Boomer "CS-2207" and Rex "CT-7567" arrived. He took the Sleight of Hand, with both Bane himself and the gravity weapon aboard, and left the planet. Teska eventually arrived at the planet Behpour in Naboo system, which was soon attacked by the Galactic Republic. During the battle Bane shot Teska for the humiliation the former inflicted at Bane, and the ship returned to his possession. Bane sabotaged the shuttle of Count Dooku and Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress before leaving the system aboard the Sleight of Hand.
