The Smoothride was a hoverbus model that was considered venerable by the Age of the Empire. One known variant of the Smoothride was the Mark Six Smoothride. The miner Okadiah Garson owned one such model and hired the freighter pilot Kanan Jarrus to drive miners between his cantina The Asteroid Belt and Moonglow Polychemical. The hoverbus was badly damaged when Kanan, Hera Syndulla, and Skelly used it to flee pursuing Imperial forces on Gorse.
