Sound bafflers were components that helped to muffle the sound produced by engines. The Arakyd Aerodynes, Inc. Hush-About AJP-400 used specially designed sound bafflers in tandem with auditory dampeners to make the jetpack virtually soundless. The Whisper Jet Pack used internal sound bafflers, making it a favorite of the Alliance Infiltrators.
