Ison, a star system in the Outer Rim's Greater Javin region, was enclosed by nebula wisps that made hyperspace travel through the area risky. Southern Rim NavHaz reported that within a few centuries these coalescing gases and debris would effectively close the Rimward end of the Ison Corridor hyperlane, rendering the route obsolete.
