The Specialists was a group of mercenaries that was employed by the Hutt Cartel during their invasion of the planet Makeb in the Galactic War. Led by the Ratcatcher, the group also included the former Jedi Cheiko Bes, Specter-12, and the droid QO-99, as well as the Mantellian Savrip Tarklan. Each commanded their own elite unit: Bes was in charge of several fallen Jedi and banished Sith, Specter-12 commanded Ghost Squad, QO-99 lead droids of various make and model, and Tarklan supervised several fellow Savrips. The group was eventually wiped out by an Imperial Strike force they had been asigned to eliminate.
