The Squill Cave was a cavern located somewhere in the deserts of Tatooine and was home to many squill beasts.
During the Galactic Civil War, a Rodian hermit lived deep within the caves and recruited a spacer to help him save Tatoonine. This spacer would eventually become the Hero of Tatooine. After the Battle of Yavin, a commoner in Anchorhead attempted to lure spacers into going in the cave to kill some squills and collect squill hide.
In 1 ABY, a spacer also visited the cave while searching for a lost R2 unit diagnostic controller that was wanted by both Imperial Commander Barrezz and Rebel Captain Bastra.
