A Star Dreadnought was a type of dreadnought. Some vessels classified as Star Dreadnoughts included the Subjugator-class heavy cruiser used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, as well as some Imperial Super Star Destroyers such as the Executor-class Star Dreadnought, and the Assertor-class Star Dreadnought, as well as First Order capital ships such as the Mega-class Star Dreadnought and the specialized Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought.

The Executor-class Star Dreadnought was another class of Star Dreadnought utilized by the Galactic Empire during its reign. It consisted of two variants, the Executor I-class, and the Executor II-class Star Dreadnoughts.
A Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought
The Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought was a specialized class of Star Dreadnought, known as a Siege Dreadnought, that was used by the First Order. It was designed to lay siege on a planet or a fleet. An example was the Fulminatrix, which saw service during the Battle of D'Qar.
The Supremacy was the largest ship known to galactic history
The Mega-class Star Dreadnought was another class of Star Dreadnought utilized by the First Order. The lone vessel of the class was the Supremacy, which served as Supreme Leader Snoke's flagship and the First Order's mobile headquarters.

The Subjugator-class heavy cruiser manufactured by Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corps was a class of heavy cruiser used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but was also designated as a class of Star Dreadnought. The Malevolence, the initial testbed of the Subjugator-class, was also designated a Star Dreadnought.
The Star Dreadnought initially appeared in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back with the first appearance of the Executor, an Executor-class Star Dreadnought, the personal flagship of Darth Vader and his personal armada, Death Squadron, however, the class remained unidentified until 2002, with the Legends book Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Incredible Cross-Sections released years after The Empire Strikes Back. Following the 2014 canon reboot, it was used in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars in 2015. And in the 1983 film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, the Executor-class Star Dreadnought was first labeled as a Super Star Destroyer by Admiral Gial Ackbar during the Battle of Endor.
