Bryne's official Pride Month variant cover was announced on March 18, 2021 on StarWars.com. On May 7 of the same year, Byrne's final design was revealed, and it was published on June 16.
The comic cover depicts the smuggler Lando Calrissian with the YT-1300 light freighter the Millennium Falcon flying in space below him. The planet Tatooine is seen behind the Falcon while its twin suns, Tatoo I and Tatoo II, are visible in the background to the right of Calrissian.
