Supreme Commander was a rank among the Warrior caste of the Yuuzhan Vong.
Supreme Commander was the highest rank after Warmaster, but immediately below it came the rank of Commander, which was borne by the captains of most individual ships. It seems therefore to be analogous to the "Admiral" and "General" ranks of the Galactic Empire and the New Republic.
Supreme Commanders could serve several roles in the Yuuzhan Vong military: they were often the leaders of battlegroups, but officers of this rank could also have charge of prosecuting the war across a whole region of the galaxy, or serve as the captains of large warships. For instance, Supreme Commander Nas Choka, leading operations in Hutt Space, was the senior officer promoted to Warmaster after the death of Tsavong Lah. After his promotion, another Supreme Commander served as his flagship's captain, with several more acting as his senior aides.
By 29 ABY, at least three dozen Supreme Commanders accompanied Warmaster Nas Choka during a sacrifice ritual on Yuuzhan'tar.
