The Tactical Response Team (TRT) was an elite commando-pilot unit of CorSec, similar to the future Rogue Squadron.
The Tactical Response Team was an elite paramilitary unit made of the most skilled members of the Corellian Security Force. It was a hybrid group that encompassed commandos, pilots and investigators trained in both police and military tactics. Contrary to the majority of CorSec officers, they operated throughout the Corellian system and collaborated actively with local military and police forces. TRT members were usually assigned to the most difficult CorSec missions, such as infiltrating criminal syndicates or hunting space pirates.
Tactical Response Team members usually wore reinforced flight suits. They were equipped with blaster carbines, heavy blaster pistols, vibroknives and comlinks.

During the Battle of Corellia that took place during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the Tactical Response Team fought Imperial forces alongside Republic troops in Coronet City's Government District. During the battle, a TRT squad was totally annihilated in the CorSec Headquarters while attempting to protect Commissioner Jonah Carter from an Imperial bounty hunter.
During the Galactic Civil War, Major Alana Walden was a member of the Tactical Response Team. In 5 ABY, the CorSec Tactical Response Team was one of the inspiration for the New Republic's reformed Rogue Squadron.
