Tara E. Murphy is a Star Wars fan who designed the sandswimmer in the Design An Alien contest held in the Star Wars Galaxy Magazines. The entry was given an honorable mention in the 16 years and older category. She was 24 at the time her entry was published. She has since gone on to work in film and television in special effects, props, and carpentry.
