After the loss of Station-Star 1, the Tatooine Space Station became primary space station for the system. The space station was not the friendliest one in the galaxy, but for the right price they could be persuaded to provide emergency repairs. The station was notorious for clearing anyone to land at any of Tatooine's starports without even the most basic security protocols in place.
The station manager would also give missions to Smugglers' Alliance pilots, privateers, smugglers, and bounty hunters so that they could earn landing access to Jabba's Palace.
Pilots of all factions could also find Kelen Wordkal near the Tatooine Space Station for additional pilot work.
