Terraforming

Terraforming was a process in which a planet's environment was altered, in order to ensure biologic conditions for most sentient species of the galaxy to live and prosper, such as atmosphere and terrain. The Solodoe species wished to terraform the planet Plin Minor, but the native Plinovians objected due to resulting destruction of their natural habitat. The planet Lah'mu was a terraformed world, while Eadu hosted a terraforming operation owned by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. In 18 BBY, the Galactic Empire began a terraforming project on the planet Ilum.
