The Naboo Crisis was a seemingly minor conflict sparked by Republic control of certain galactic trade routes. But what appeared to be a simple reaction by the greedy Trade Federation was actually the first phase of a carefully crafted plan by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious to overthrow the Republic. But even Sidious did not expect such a crisis to result in the emergence of heroes and the alliance of the Gungans and Naboo, two peoples who had been at odds for years. Members of both sides stepped forward to fight the blockade, from military leaders like Captain Panaka, to seasoned pilots like Ric Olié, to energetic leaders like Boss Nass… to more nondescript figures like Jar Jar Binks.
