The Lovers' Embrace was when the two moons of Elrood, Sharene and Lodos, were only a handspan apart when viewed from the surface. During the event, Elroodian couples exchanged gifts, love poems, and stories, and took vacations. The start of romances and marriages were common during this period. The event happened three times a year, and lasted for several days. A similar event on Elrood was known as The Lovers' Conflict, and the artwork "The Lovers' Dilemma" was displayed on the same planet.
