The new series' initial run started in April 2013 and lasted for five issues, released weekly. The second run that launched in January 2014, with 120 issues planned to be released each Wednesday, differs from the previous run in arrangement, layout, image choice, and coding system. Its issues cover material from Star Wars canon that has been released since the original magazine ended in 2005, including Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, and the Star Wars Rebels TV series.
