The lightsaber wielded by the Ronin was a lightsaber once owned by the Sith who became known as the Ronin. In a skirmish at a village located on the Outer Rim planet of Genbara, the Ronin employed this lightsaber in combat to kill the Sith named Kouru. Because the lightsaber suffered damage and its blade could not be retracted, the Ronin utilized a specially shielded scabbard.
