In response to a third Separaist invasion of the planet, the Republic sent Clone Commando Boss, also known as "Boss", to lead the Grand Army of the Republic's clone forces stationed there. The Jedi Order sent Jedi Knight Ana Zett to oversee and assist in the campaign.
During the battle, the Separatist Droid Army tested some of the newest battle droid models they had developed at that time, such as the B2 Assault droid.
Later in the campaign, a Jedi Knight arrived on the planet to assist Republic forces. The Jedi completed tasks assigned to them by both Boss and ARC Captain Carg, weakening Separatist forces and hastening their eventual defeat by the Republic.
