They were crewed by Chiss warriors known as the triangulation observers that helped the starship aim and focus its attacks. During the Lioaoin skirmish, Caregiver Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," disregarded the Defense Fleet General Orders, that had forbidden to discuss weaponry with Chiss sky-walkers, when she explained the triangulation observation areas and breacher missiles aboard the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet vessel Springhawk to sky-walker Che'ri.
