Tythonian Mastery Tokens were small, disk-shaped medallions given to Jedi Knights when they earned the rank of Jedi Master in the early days of the Jedi Order. The Master of the former Knight was also awarded one. The tokens, made from crude barabbian, were carved with Coremaic runes. During the Republic Fair on Valo, a collection of these tokens was on display in a cabinet. OrbaLin used The Force to turn them into projectiles that disabled several Nihil who were looting the Secrets of the Jedi exhibit in the Starlight Pavilion.
The Tythonian Mastery Token first appeared in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, a token with similar purpose named Jedi Credit was first mentioned in 1996 novel X-Wing: Rogue Squadron, written by Michael A. Stackpole.
