A ucalot was a creature that would burrow its head into sand. The Jedi Padawan Klias Teradine believed that in order to be better, the Jedi needed to understand the dark side of the Force in order to fight it rather than sticking their head into the sand like a ucalot. Fellow Padawan Tylera, who Teradine had talked into investigating a shrine of the dark-side Yallow Fellowship, suggested that she may prefer to be a ucalot, which was a safer option.
