While he was training Auglu, the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and Master Ulseh took up the rank of General in the Grand Army of the Republic.
Dispatched to the planet of Argul, the Master-Padawan pair participated in the campaign there, overseeing the evacuation of the injured Argullians while Master Nemen Ull held back the Separatist Droid Army. When one of the Republic's Acclamator-class assault ships was shot down by the Confederacy's artillery, Ulseh went to help the crash survivors escape the wreckage. However, the droid artillery began firing upon the ship again, and Ulseh was killed.
