A human male served as an agent of the Imperial Security Bureau during the time of the Galactic Empire. The Empire sent the agent to investigate on the planet Kudo in response to local Kudon resistance at the same time as the Rebel Alliance was undertaking a mission to locate and support the freedom fighters. After hearing of the ISB agent's presence, the Alliance forces sent the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 to lead the agent into a trap, whereupon the Wookiee Chewbacca knocked him unconscious. The agent's defeat allowed the rebels to meet with the Kudon resistance, but Princess Leia Organa speculated that the Empire may not be delayed for long.
