The squadron proved to be particularly effective when Master Yoda ordered his forces to concentrate their firepower on the nearest fleeing Separatist core ship. The squadron managed to damage the core ship's propulsion and anti-gravitational systems, causing the ship to fall to the surface. After this action, the squadron had to be replaced by artillery with charged weapons. Clone troopers and clone trooper officers served within the walkers during the battle.
