Eventually, the Sith's kyber crystal fell into the hands of expert Doctor Cuata. Sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the Jedi-in-training Luke Skywalker sought out Cuata to acquire a new kyber crystal for his lightsaber.
As Cuata worked on his current kyber in order to make it stable, he asked Skywalker to heal the crystal that had been bled by this Sith. Skywalker was not aware of the process of how to heal the crystal, but was informed of how to by the Fallanassi Gretta, who told him he would need to deeply connect with the dark side user who bled the crystal originally. Whilst Skywalker attempted to heal the crystal, he was brought to this Sith's hall, who welcomed him and told him to approach and state his name. He then asked Skywalker how and why he had entered his hall.

After many fans asked, he also confirmed the character had a name but stated he would only reveal it once Star Wars 43 released. Soule also knows where the character and his story falls in the overall Star Wars timeline. After Star Wars 43 released, Soule provided further context for the character in a Tweet about his physical appearance.
