Prior to the assassination attempt on Si-Di-Ri, the Tiss'shar politician Geor-Dan-Thi rose to the position of Vice President as Mayor Antha-Kres, Secretary Lai-O-Sid, and Vice President Astre-De-Kay all died under questionable circumstances. Many, including Si-Di-Ri himself, believed Geor-Dan-Thi responsible for their assassination.
