A terrestrial astronomical object was the location of an eclectic marketplace. Around 379 BBY, Marda Ro—the Evereni founder of a group of pirates who would eventually become the Nihil—visited the marketplace during her quest for others of her species. While there, Ro saw a Jedi and approached him. She inquired as to whether the Jedi had a Padawan and, upon finding out that he did not, attacked him. Leaving the Jedi alive, Ro took him back to her starship, the Gaze Electric, where she told Rox—a member of her marauder group—that the Jedi was alive but would soon regret that she had not killed him on the celestial body.
Later, Ro mentioned the astronomical object in a message she recorded for her descendants and opted to not disclose the location's name. By 252 BBY, during his youth, Ro's great-great-grandson Marchion Ro had listened to her journal, including the message where the the astronomical object was mentioned.
The astronomical object appeared in a flashback in the short story "A Closed Fist Has No Claws," written by Tessa Gratton and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
