A junk droid with the head of an EV unit was created by Akar Duel on Lotho Minor. The junk droid was fitted with a restraining bolt that caused it to believe Duel was the Maker, following him. The droid, along with the other junk droids made by Duel, came to the realization that droids could be free when witnessing C-3PO, and turned on their creator.
