A pirate base was located somewhere near the Serianan system. The base was in a domed building with stairs and a doorway that resembled a set of five statues recovered from the star system by the New Republic scout Korren Starchaser. Within the base, the pirates held a sixth statue that completed the set found by Starchaser.
At one point, the pirates captured a group of spacers who were heading into the Serianan system and brought them to the pirate base. The captives explored the base and found its connection to the statues from the Serianan Belt. They managed to steal the sixth statue and escape the base.
